Brother Mathew, you have hit the issue very preciously; and now the believers in the U.S. must confront this modern day religious rip off through united effort. The U.S. Consultes issue 10 year multiple entry visa to many of these regular visitors, and for the vast majority of them, they don't have any ministry in India but only the "foreign visit ministry". I was indeed fooled by some visiting ministers from India, so I was forced to nail down my hospitality attitude, towards these religious visitors with big stories of conversion-suffering-miracles-prophecy etc. As we are all hit hard due to the economic crisis in the U.S., God might be giving us an opportunity to be highly cautious and vigilant about these modern day religious con artists. There are thousands of Pastors and believers suffering in India, find them and be helpful to their ministry and sufferings. Do not entertain these regular visitors, if we are not absolutely sure and firm about their ministry in India.

once upon a time they {missionaries} were enlightened and took on bible and missionary work thinking that everything is in god's hand and he will be the provider! but they never foresaw that the trail would be so absorbing! soon, after marriage, they have family members joining the ranks to the so called turmoil, which they did not call for, especially the kids! now they are bombarded with problems, i am talking about financial needs! ofcourse, the almighty is there for the asking, but the almighty sometimes, has his own ways and time, responding, but that some needs need immediate response, now who is to blame? so, my request to my dear brothers who are fortunate in life, to please share some of your financial blessings to a needy missionary or pastor who approach you and you will be blessed for sure. but whoever takes on missionary work to turn it into a financial fortune should be contempt! suvesheesha veela dhanasambhaadhana thinulla maargam akkunnatheu apalaneeyam thanneea !

Almost 99% of the pastors who come to U.S to preach the "GOSPEL" are just money oriented. It seems like only people in U.S need to be saved. Have this people ever visited any of the urban village ares in India or any under developed nations?As soon as they reach U.S airport half of them will start Prophecy too. And then starts the fund raising in the churches whereever they visit ,recetly one pastor was making request because his house in India was damaged due to rain, his brother's daughter needs money for Nursing school....Shame on these people they live a luxurious life over there and ....

God has blessed every person who stood
for the gospel of Christ and suffered
total humiliation in front of the world
while preaching the gospel. Now the
trend is not to preach the gospel but
getting rich through any business, and
motivating other people to preach the
gospel.
One person called from me another State
in the U.S. that he is the President of
a Bible college in North India. While
telling me the salary level of the
teachers in Bihar, I got very suspecious. Finally, he was forced to
tell me that the number of students are
only 21 with 5 teachers and the monthly
expenses around Rs. 2 lakh, but the
President of the college is staying in
the U.S. with his children. There are
hundreds of such business enterprises
in operation and fooling a lot of
innocent people simply by using many
fronts like Bible college, Crusade,
Orphanages, Old
