Cont. Manages and CEO's responsibilities will not end at the end of the day. They are responsible for the employees, meeting production, and cash flow such and you get paid every week and so on. Unless you are in their shoes you will not understand the headache they are in and the hard work. not going to say much , just one thing, quit whining because some one else making more money than you do.

"engineers in united states don't make money,because you don't deserve it,just drawing a picture and sitting there don't make worth anything!take the case of the federal stimulus-money they sent to fix the mortgages,instead of sending it to the corporates-the banks,the feds should have sent that money directly to the poor struggling mortgagee!"
i am not talking out of context. i was just stating the fact about why we are in this mess. if the govt. stay out of the way of banks they will not have given these mortgages to those who can't afford it. and about engineers and rns making money, both get paid for what they do and how demanding their skills. managers and ceo making money, once you get into that position you will realize how little they make for what they do. just because they are not doing any physical work doesn't mean they are not working hard. you go work as an rn in the floor, end of your shift your responsibility ends

Wow. Jen, quit watching too much tv and read and learn about ecconomics, governmen, business and every day activites in the world. If the government stay out of banks way we will not be in this mortgage mess. Govternment made the banks to give loans to those who cant afford to pay back. Government made the bank
to ignore all the guide lines in place , otherwire they will gravely fined. Next time read and learn something outside of your RN ook. There is more more things are happenig in this world that nursing and hospital.

@ sam- staying here or going back to india is none of your business! don't be envying about my level, its not my education or my college,but that your are from a sub-standard level, or else you wont be responding this way. you are from a sub-standard college most probably from india, struggled to get through engineering with meager marks, finally came here some how and with low marks can't find a good job, that's the basis for all this envy to rn's. as far as i am concerned i love my job. at least i have my husband with me, how about your wife, she must have deserted you, because that's the character you are, look at your remarks. i will always blame capitalism when they exploit the poor, and mine stay anywhere is none of your business!!!!!!

Now I know, how much you know about what Global economy or what capitalism is! Please don't pretend like a business tycoon, I have enough wisdom to imagine that! You know nothing about economy or capitalism, your ideas are useless. Money to mortgagee would have certainly helped a lot, to the struggling individuals. What a s-pid statement, "its when govt got involved in policy decisions"-- that's the job of a government and a government is there to make right decisions. Certainly its when capitalism made a wrong turn that made all of this to happen! The government did not force anybody to do anything, its the governments interest itself to sell more and more mortgages, because its a government run by Capitalist business men. We will always blame Capitalism, when they exploit the poor!!!!!

Jennifer, You idea of giving money to the Mortgaee wont dont do nothing. So your idea just useless. Housing Market bubble has nothing to do with Capitalism. So dont mix apples to oranges. It is when the government gets involed in policy decisions, thats when things start breaking. Govt forced bank to give mortgages to folks who did not make good money or put descent down payement. This was done to artifically prop up the housing market. Reap the rewards now -- brothers and sisters. Dont blame Capitalism for all the problems.

Salary is based on demand. There is more need of nurses than engineers or any other professions. That's why RN make money. That doesn't mean engineers are not working. RNs and engineers work differently. We work more intellcually than physically. On the money side both enginerrs and RN make almost identical base salary. One should not demean others based on their job. Each and every job have its on status. God did not made every as doctors, and engineers. We respect others for who they are, not for what they have. Cspitalizum is good if the government stay away from the private sector. Let the capotalizum heal itself.

If we think that Capitalism is bad then we need to pack our bags and go back to our motherland. Dont cry wolf here when you and your spouse is making good money. What did capitalism give to you? Registered Nurse making money more than an Engineer? This is what capitalism gave you. Dont mixt Capitalism with greed. So be thankfull for what you have and do what is required of you based on biblical principles.

The whole world is caught up in a total confusion with economic and political problems. The 17 country Europen union is now composed of bankrupt and economically sinking nations without finding any solution to their problems. Now the crisis has reached Asia. So, except South America and a few countries Africa, all other nations are caught up in the recession. This is clearly indicating something directly connected to the Biblical prophecies.

at last the world has come to realize the fact that majority of the wealth is owned by 10 or 15 percent of the people and the rest are struggling to make ends meet! the atrocities of capitalism! the disparities between the rich and the poor! owning a piece of land to crawl in to go to sleep, having a roof over his head to protect from rain, wind and sun., having a means of living and peace of mind should be considered basic rights of a citizen in every country. but now we have the rich exploiting the poor. the wall street protest and the onndaa that shattered the glasses of white-house don't surprise me!

@ tom- yes, your talking out of context- and reading lines wrong- the banks do not lend money to anybody who cannot afford to pay back when they lend the loan. The Banks always ascertain the income capacity when they lend loan to individuals or families or business enterprises and that's why they have a loan-specialist there! The problem generated right now is that people lost their jobs due to the recession and thereby lost their source of income and cannot pay back loans,now who is to blame?
